Ліричні та меланхолійні, феєричні та святкові. Вальси Фредерика Шопена – це окремий феномен у світі музики. Віртуозний піаніст писав музику так, щоб звучанням лише одного рояля змусити людину переживати найсильніші емоції в своєму житті.

Зануритися у світ Шопенівських вальсів, а також мазурок і ноктюрнів запрошує піаніст, соліст Львівського органного залу Андрій Макаревич на сольному концерті в останню суботу лютого.

The eternal music of Johann Sebastian Bach performed by cellist Denis Litvinenko. Winner of international competitions, cello accompanist of the Academic Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic, performs in Europe, USA, Japan.

Denis Litvinenko will present an evening of true Bach wisdom and depth, which we are so lacking these days.

About the artist:

Denys Lytvynenko (Ukraine, Lviv) - cellist, composer, member of the Phoenix Quartet.

He graduated from the Lviv Music Specialized Boarding School named after S. Kryshelnytska (1992-2003) in the class of Yevhen Spitzer and Nadiya Kvyk. He continued his studies at the Lviv State Music Academy. M. Lysenko (2003-2008) in the class of Yuriy Lanyuk. During the years of study he gave many concerts, repeatedly won competitions "All-Ukrainian competition of cellists and viola players" (Lviv, Ukraine) - I prize, "All-Ukrainian competition of chamber ensembles and quartets" (Lviv, Ukraine) - II prize, and participated in international master classes. (Tomasz Stral) and festivals.

While studying at the conservatory, he began working at the Lviv National Philharmonic, and later held the position of concertmaster of the cello group in the orchestra K&K Philharmoniker (Ukraine). He has toured with orchestras in countries such as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland and others. Since 2014 he has been the concertmaster of the cello group of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic.

He has collaborated with such conductors as Ilya Stupel, Georg Kugi, Teodor Kucher, Fedor Glushchenko, Misha Katz, Volodymyr Sirenko, Shungo Moriyama and many others.

Conducts active concert activities as part of the Phoenix Quartet. The quartet takes part in concerts and festivals in Germany, Japan, Italy, Poland, the USA and is engaged in the revival of Ukrainian quartet music.

In collaboration with KLK New Music he has recorded about 100 contemporary chamber and solo works. He has recorded for Naxos and Aldebaran Editions.

The concert lasts about an hour

The cost of an entrance ticket is UAH 100.

This is the minimum amount that will allow us and our artists to work.
